In Australian Adults it is recommended to have between 25-30 g/day of Fibre. To put this into perspective 1 piece of whole grain bread is around 2g of fibre and a cup of strawberries is around 3g of fibre, so it can be difficult to reach these recommendations.
To help achieve this, some high fibre foods include: whole grain bread, brown rice, oatmeal, almonds, raisin bran cereal and fruit and vegetables. Take the Healthy Eating Quiz to find ways to improve your wholegrain and fibre intake.
