
Ilyse is the Business Development Manager for Nutrition and Dietetic Research at the University of Newcastle. She brings over 20 years of experience in tertiary education administration and holds a Master of Business Administration, awarded in 2015.
Ilyse works as the project manager for key nutrition initiatives, where she oversees stakeholder engagement, reporting, continuous improvement, and the development of grant opportunities. She plays a central role in building partnerships across research, industry, and community sectors to expand the impact of evidence-based nutrition programs.
She also features on the Nutrition Science Bites podcast, where she represents the consumer perspective, asking practical, real-world questions to help translate complex nutrition science into accessible and actionable advice.
