- 4 cups whole oats
- 2 tbsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp nutmeg
- 1 tsp ground ginger
- ¼ cup maple syrup
- 1/3 cup pepitas
- 1/3 cup pecans
- 1/3 cup almonds
A nutty, festive breakfast for one and all
1. Preheat fan forced oven to 180 degrees Celsius. Line a large baking tray with baking paper.
2. In a large bowl, combine oats, cinnamon, pepitas, nutmeg, ground ginger, and ground cloves.
3. Roughly chop the walnuts and almonds and add to bowl.
4. Mix all dry ingredients well.
5. Add maple syrup to bowl, and stir through until well combined.
6. Pour granola mix into the baking tray and spread evenly.
7. Bake for 10-15 minutes, or until well toasted. Ensure to stir every 5 minutes for even roasting.
