Wash all strawberries and dry thoroughly with paper towel. Line a baking tray with baking paper
Chop nuts finely and place into a bowl. Add coconut to a separate bowl
Roughly chop chocolate and place in large bowl. Melt either in the microwave, or on the stovetop
Heat for 10-15 seconds at a time, stirring each time
Dip strawberries into melted chocolate and then dip into chopped nuts and coconut or sprinkle these on top
Place on baking tray and refrigerate for 30 minutes or until the chocolate sets
Tweaks
If you don't have a microwave you can melt the chocolate on the stove using a double boiler. To do this bring a pot with a small amount of water (about 5cm) to a simmer. Put the chocolate in a heatproof bowl (e.g., stainless steel, glass, ceramic). Sit the bowl over the simmering water so that the steam comes into contact with the bowl and heats it gently. Be careful not to let all of the water evaporate. Stir the chocolate until melted.
