Serves = 15

  • ½ cup grapes (15 grapes)

  • 1 punnet strawberries (15 strawberries)

  • 1 ½ banana

  • ½ packet small marshmallows or yoghurt covered sultanas

  • Extra long toothpicks

It’s this easy

  • Cut the green tops off of the strawberries, thinly slice the banana into discs, and pull the grapes off the stem. Set to one side.

  • Now to start assembling the fruit! We’ll start from the bottom.

  • Onto the toothpick, thread one grape, followed by 1 slice of banana (through the centre), then with the pointed end of the strawberry facing away from the grape, thread the strawberry onto the toothpick (it should look like Santa’s hat). Lastly, add a small marshmallow or yoghurt covered sultana.

  • Repeat until you have used up all of your ingredients!


  • You could use a small triangle of watermelon instead of a strawberry and kiwi fruit instead of grapes.
  • If you can't find mini marshmallows, you could also halve or quarter larger marshallows
  • Note. Recipe not suitable for children under the age of 5 due to choking hazard (grapes)
